How did I come to write this book the way that I have?
I know that what I have to say is important to God and that’s why He put it on my heart to say it. But the problem is this, why would anyone care to read what I have to say? I’m not some fancy preacher or evangelist. I don’t have a huge following. Why would anyone care about what I write?
Over the course of working on this book many different people essentially told me the same thing, “Tell your own story. Many people can quote the Bible, but no one has a story like yours. What God has done in your life can’t be denied, because it happened to you, not someone back in history or someone you just heard about. It happened to you.”
And so that is what I have done in this book, write my own story. I take the reader from the beginning of my life in Rochester, to my life now and all the things; good, bad, tragic, happy, and all the rest, that happened in-between. I show how God has worked through it all to bring me to where I am now. How He has prepared me for this work.
In the second half of my book, I share with the reader the things about the modern Church of Jesus Christ that God has put on my heart to write. It is an End Times message to Christians in these last days designed to help His people wake up to His Word and the reality of what is going on in the world today. Without a real relationship with Christ, we as people are missing out on what God has for us in this life. And that these trendy churches which cater to the lowest common denominator and bring warm and fuzzy messages that people are itching to hear are not preaching Christ, even if they are called by His name.
Jesus Christ is coming back. This world as we know it is coming to an end and we need to get right with Him before it’s too late. I don’t ask that anyone get right with God before they accept Christ, I ask that they invite Him into their lives and let Him make them right in His sight.
My life is far from perfect, and the book as well as this Website is far from perfect. But God has guided me in putting all this out there for His purposes and He knows who needs to read what I have written or to hear what I have to say.
The Book is out there now. It’s up to God to get it into the hands of those for whom it was written.
