A Blessing

A few years ago a Christian lady, Donna Tuttle, gave me a blessing she compiled directly from God’s word, which I find very comforting.  She has given me permission to print it here.  I bless you with these words:

I bless you with the Father’s blessing:

A blessing of love, a blessing of life;

A blessing of a hope and a future.

I call forth a release of your destiny in God, and the Father’s  purpose and plans for your lives.  I release your identity and security and self-worth as children of God.

I bless you with the righteousness of God in Christ, for He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us.

I bless you with the peace of God, which surpasses all    understanding, to guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I bless you to be temples of God, that His Spirit may dwell in you.

I bless you with healing and divine health, for our God is Jehovah-Rapha who forgives your iniquities and heals your diseases.

I pray that God’s word shall not depart out of your mouths, and that you shall meditate on it day and night, that thou may observe to do all that is written in it.  For then He shall make your way prosperous and you shall have good success and the Lords provision shall be seen.

I bless you with victory through our Lord Jesus Christ who was delivered up for us all.

I bless you with safety and guidance, for His sheep hear His voice and He knows them, and they follow Him that no one may snatch them out of His hand.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you: may the Lord turn His countenance upon you, and give you peace.
